Using a camera and an Vuforia computer vision, Project Anicca presents you a mystery world for exploration in augmented reality. Users can observe game world in 3D and control the game character, Anicca, to find a path out of the game.
I was responsible for all graphics design of the game, from rough sketching to textured models of characters and architectures with lighting and simple special effects, using Maya and Unity.

Theme and Story
Anicca happens back in history of old China, where a little girl died and went to nether world, world after death in traditional Chinese tale. According to tale, in order to rebirth, dead people have to have a bowl of alleviating soup to forget everything they experienced when they alived. However, after having the soup, our protagonist still feels that she has things incompleted before she died, and insist on not starting a new live. Therefore, she begins her adventure on collecting lost memories in nether world.....
The word Anicca means the belief that all things are impermanent and constantly changing. It is from Buddhism.
